Alicia Keys done did it again! As I Am is the soundtrack of any woman. My opinion might be biased because I'm a fan, but this album is a pearl! It's personal, touching, soulful, it's all about love.

The first reviewed I've read about the album were not that positif (probably because they came from young junk music fans *cough*beyoncerihannaciarasomeidiotrappersmediawhorewithnosubstance*cough*). But I guarentee you will love it. If not, just send a complain message to my mailbox :D

My only regret is that one of her songs I'm completely addicted to , Hurt So Bad, is not on the album. It has this old vibe. But thank you to the internet!

 

 

 

 

 

  100 days, 100 nights by Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, both Daptone Records artists, is another amazing album that takes us back to the 60s. Obviously I'm too young to know what living in the 60s looks like, but you know what I mean.

FYI, The Dap-Kings is the band playing for Amy Winehouse.

 I urge you to buy this album. & if you have access to Canal+, do everything you can to catch her private live. It came out last week, so I'm not sure they'll have more re-runs.

If after watching  this movie, people don't kick Cassie, The PCD & all these girls out of the music scene, I just won't get it.

I don't think music is dying. People doing good music are on the road doing gigs in pubs & coffee house. They are playing in the parks for free. They are releasing excellent abums who are just hidden under a bunch of junk music.

Real artists are not all looking for fame, but I wish people like Musiq, Goapele, ?Love got more attention from the public.

It's a bit sad that RnB & Hip-Hop turned into such a big joke.

I hope we go back to the time when Hip-hop was cool, when bands were not too cocky to do an  Unplugged album.

 

 

 

 

So when is Erykah Badu actually coming with her 3 albums? I've been waiting for so long for her come back. She is the artist that upset me the most with lauryn Hill. Why are those two taking so long to release good music? 

 Anyway, I've read her albums were coming today. did anybody hear about it?

Where was I hiding when this girl droppe her first album??? Amy Winehouse is just amazing. Great voice & from what I've heard, she's a bad bad girl! Check her new album Back To Black. You will love it! even if you are a grand ma you'll love it, becaus it sounds like the 60s :p

If you are not convince...I will even buy it. If this isn't a proof that it's a good album!!!

I've been swinging on I Feel Just Like A Child for a moment before I found out he already released two previous albums.

I've just ordered my copy of Cripple Crow & I suggest you do the same if you want to discover a different kind of music. I'm a 80s child, but I know this sounds like 69 music :p

Karl Lagarfeld shares his playlist with us...for only 26.98 euros...well...maybe should I do the same. I could put all my favorite songs and sell them on my website....hmmmm... this is not such a bad idea.

 

 

Please don't be stupid! It doesn't make sense to buy an album 27 euros, when you could get it for 15 euros,  just because there's writen Karl Lagarfeld and VOGUE on the jacket.

It's like buying toilet tissue $100 just because there's D&G printed on it. Who gives a shit? (no pun intended)
